Wilder Ways offers you an opportunity to take our experienced horses on an exhilarating journey through some of the lesser known wilds of Scotland. Whether you are an adventure seeker wanting a trip of a life time; someone looking for a trip to build up your confidence; a family; or a complete beginner dreaming about your maiden voyage on horseback, we have an adventure to suit you.
You can even bring your own horse, either to adventure to the max, or to gain confidence from being part of our experienced herd.
We offer a range of products from half day rides to week long all-inclusive holidays. We also offer Adventures to Order for all kinds of weird and wonderful occasions. We pride ourselves in enabling our riders to explore ‘off the beaten tracks’ and enjoy playing with the horses over obstacles. You will enjoy lots of time in the saddle and immersion in all things horse! While your safety will always be our number one priority, our rides are organised and tailored to ensure an appropriate level of challenge and enjoyment for every rider and horse.
When we enter the wilds we endeavour to "take only memories (& photos) and leave only a few hoof prints."

When & Where Can I Adventure in 2020?
Wilder Ways has always run as a ‘pop-up’ riding establishment which allows us to take you on adventures through a range of locations across the wilds of West Scotland.
In the summer of 2019, we moved into our new home in the Mull of Kintyre and are so excited to finally have our own home base. We look forward to welcoming you to our home and sharing this beautiful farm with you.
Don’t worry though, whilst we love having a home base, – for all you travel bugs we will continue to operate from at least one ‘pop-up’ location each year. This will help to keep the horses on their hooves; us on our toes and; you on the edge of your saddles! In 2020 our ‘pop-up’ location is Knoydart.

May and June - Knoydart, West Highland
One of the last true wilderness area in Scotland, this isolated peninsula is accessible only by boat. Ride through breath-taking and ever changing mountain scenery and scramble around the coast with spectacular views out to 'The Small Isles'. This ride is full of delicious and unexpected treats for you to enjoy. A truly wild adventure awaits.
The rest of the year - Mull of Kintyre
Our new premises includes acres of idyllic riding and our old stone farmhouse where you will stay with us and the herd. The Mull of Kintyre, at the Southern tip of West Argyll is remote, wild and beautiful with golden beaches, clifftop views and hills, and is steeped in the history of ancient Scotland.
