A Wilder Ways Wedding
Our 2018 Knoydart trip was made all the more special with our wedding and of course no wedding would have been complete without some of the Wilder Ways herd.
Knoydart 2018
With our 2018 season now complete, we hang up our riding boots…but not for long. The 2019 schedule has now been launched and we have an exciting program ahead, including (by popular demand) returning to Knoydart and Lindores as well as a new secret location to be revealed soon.
We love taking this opportunity at the end of a season to reminisce over the adventures we’ve shared and the wonderful people we have met over the course of the year. And what a season its been. After one of the coldest winters on record and a very slow start to spring, who would have thought we would have enjoyed so much sunshine and almost no midges, it really has been incredible.
We have thoroughly enjoyed sharing your adventures and watching so many of you achieve more than you dared to believe you could. We’ve had you climbing to the top of mountains, swimming in the sea and jumping your way around the country. What fun we’ve had with you guys. Thank you so much for taking a leap of faith to join us on the wild side.
A big thank you to all the people who worked with us to make this year’s adventures possible. Those who have hosted us all and fed us some of the most amazing food we’ve eaten. Also particular thanks to the team of professionals who work tirelessly, following us around our locations to get the herd to you and help us keep them fit and well all season. Particular mention to Roland Holmes Horse Transport, Farrier Fraser Spittal and Laura of Amayzing Saddlery.
And of course, a massive thanks to our beautiful and willing herd who have so carefully navigated us through the wilds in both blistering heat and the odd lashing rain; creating memories we will never forget. We are so proud of the newbies, Jazz, Puzzle, Pearl and Iorek who have all proven their resolve and are already making their own fan clubs, we are so proud of these guys, they are officially in the herd to stay!
I’m glad to report the herd are heading off to enjoy a VERY well-earned rest after all their hard work this year. Meanwhile we will be busy embarking on a new adventure of our own as we spend the winter setting up our new Home Base.
So whether you’re returning for another dose of adventure, or fancy your maiden voyage with Wilder Ways, please contact us via the usual channels and don’t forget to sign up to our Wilder Ways Newsletter Straight from the Horses’ Mouth.
Here's to another great season in 2019! And remember “life begins where your comfort zone ends”.
