Wilder Ways offer both adult and children's riding lessons, available to locals and visitors, either as one offs or as regular slots. We cater for all abilities so whether you have never sat on a horse before or you are an experienced competent rider we are here to support you and provide opportunities to develop your riding!
We have a real mix of horses to suit your ability and needs - have a look at our trusty herd members here. Alternatively, you can bring your own horse for a lesson. Our coaches are particularly experienced in building confidence in horse and rider and nudging you out of your comfort zone to achieve your goals. They know their horses inside out, enabling them to select one to allow you to get the most out of your sessions.
We offer both private and group lessons. Private lessons are much more focused on you, they will give you an intense session and lots to think about. Group lessons have the benefit of the social aspect allowing you to learn from others and gives you some time to digest what is being said. If you do opt for a group lesson this will be made up from riders of a similar experience level. Therefore, as you progress, you may have to change slots.

Lessons will take place in our new outdoor arena and can be arranged throughout the year at Glen Kerran Farm near Southend. The arena is 60m x 30m with a sand and carpet fibre riding surface and is equipped with training show jumps. If you would rather a lesson out on the trail, this can also be arranged.
Price based on a lesson at Wilder Ways, lessons at your own home are also possible – please enquire for availability and pricing
