Adventure Summary

Kintyre is a place that time forgot. Well off the beaten track, and surrounded by beautiful coastline and stunning island views, this place is full of wildlife and steeped in Scottish history and folk lore.
This holiday will be tailor made to the specific interests and requirements of your family as a whole, as well as the individual members. As a minimum it will include 3 nights plus 2 half days of activities for a family of 4. At the maximum it can include 4 nights and 3 full days of activities for a family of up to 8 people. What activities your group do is entirely up to each of you! You’ll stay in our remote, 150 year-old Scottish farmhouse and feast on delicious home-grown and local produce morning, noon and night. With comfortable and characterful accommodation and beautifully eccentric hosts, the hospitality is as much of an adventure as the activities. We want you to feel completely at home here, but without having to do the chores! Just bring your appetite for adventure and leave the rest up to us so we can take care of you. |

In terms of activities, we can offer any of the following:
All activities can be run as either a half day or a full day. It is also possible for us to help you arrange other activities for your family off the farm. For example, kayaking trips, boat rides, distillery tours. These are run by third party suppliers and would be charged to you in addition, directly by the supplier. During any down time, we have a wide selection of family games and books available, or just enjoy wildlife watching and horse TV from the comfort of our Glassroom. This trip is suitable for riders and non-riders alike. |
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at the farm (check in from 4pm) in time to settle before dinner at 7pm. Relax into your surroundings, and let the banter start flowing. Your hosts will join you for dinner the first night in order to finalise all the plans for your exciting adventures.
Day 2: Activities according to your selection. Day 3: Activities according to your selection. Day 4: Activities according to your selection. Or departure after breakfast if you have opted for a 3 night stay. Day 5: Departure after breakfast if you have opted for a 4 night stay. This adventure will leave your family feeling exhilarated, empowered, connected and recharged. |

Arrival – On the Sunday afternoon, the day before the ride starts. Check-in is any time from 4pm and before dinner is served at 7pm.
Daily Schedule – This is subject to the specifics of each day’s activities, but generally breakfast is at 8.30am, lunch is at 1pm and dinner is at 7pm. Activities run 10am-1pm and/or 2pm-5pm.
Riding – As per your selections on Monday, Tuesday +/- Wednesday.
Riding Ability – This trip is available to riders of any ability and non-riders.
Lunches – A farmhouse lunch will be provided each day, except on any full-day rides where a picnic ‘on the hoof’ will be provided.
Accommodation – 3 or 4 nights’ accommodation in our remote, 150 year-old Scottish farmhouse.
Evening meals – Each night you will feast at our farmhouse with ‘horse tv’ streaming live from the comfort of the dining room window! Enjoy a home cooked 2 course meal made with love. We pride ourselves in our home grown produce (including pork, lamb, veggies, eggs, herbs and fruit) and other top quality local fare (i.e. seafood, breads and cheeses).
Transfers – No transfers are included in this price. We can arrange a taxi to pick you up from Campbeltown bus station or airport, the cost of which will be an addition (~£20 each way).
Finish – This trip finishes either on the Wednesday after breakfast or the Thursday after breakfast, depending on which length of trip you have selected.
Departure – Check out is by 11am on the departure day.
Exclusions: Alcoholic drinks are not included but you are welcome to bring your own bottle.
