Empowerment Studio
It is time to INVEST in YOU! Empowerment is one of our Core Values at Wilder Ways. We are passionate about creating welcoming safe spaces where people can thrive; helping you to embark on a journey that’s as much about personal discovery as horsemanship and adventure. Whether you are looking for an opportunity to build your skills base, reflect on your own self-worth or overcome anxiety or a specific trauma, time with nature and horses is a great way to reconnect with yourself, feel mindful, recharge and regroup. As a species, horses are inherently authentic, emotionally gymnastic and self-aware, making them fantastic teachers. We also believe our herd are happier and healthier as a result of the parts they have played in humanship journeys. Both aspects demonstrate a powerful and meaningful feedback loop between our two species. |
Nikki & Cara invite you to experience this feedback loop first hand during this unique and powerful program.

Adventure Summary
Life is overwhelming. It is easy to overlook the little things and forget to embrace the joyful moments that feed our soul. You are worthy of these moments. It is also easy to feel lost. To have become so disconnected from oneself that we no longer know who we are, what we are good at or what our purpose is. Let us shine some light on your path. Through the power of nature, animals and horses in particular, get to know yourself and find purpose. Practice how to use all of your senses, how to be in the moment, be challenged, learn new skills, hone existing skills, ignite a passion, care for another being without judgement, be vulnerable in a safe nurturing space and feel empowered. |

A typical day
9am – Each day starts with a 'check in' as we feed the farm animals and horses together and discuss the aspirations and plans for the day. 10am – 12.30pm – During the morning session we usually spend time with the horses, including time with the whole herd as well as interacting with individual horses, learning to communicate with them from the ground and/or in the saddle. 1-2pm – Lunch in the farmhouse. 2.30-4pm – Afternoon activities will be tailored to the experience and aspirations of each individual and may include horsemanship, horse riding, archery, sheep work, farm maintenance, gardening and tree planting. 4-4.30pm – Afternoon tea break and round up. During the whole day, activities are fully coached for the practical skills based aspects, as well as making space for emotional and wellbeing exploration through mindfulness practice, discussion and journaling. This program is designed to be progressive over the 6 weeks with opportunities to practice and experience new and repeat activities. |
